Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, it is safe to cycle in Rio de Janeiro, especially if you stay on the designated bicycle paths. Our tours will make as much use as possible of cycling paths. The last couple years Rio de Janeiro has been expanding its network of bike paths rapidly and is becoming a more cycling friendly city.  Wearing a helmet is not mandatory, but we do have helmets available for our clients

Wear comfortable, light clothes. Since most of the time it will be sunny, you should also bring sun block. Especially in the summer months, from December until March, it can get hot. Therefore bringing a hat and a bottle of water can come in handy as well, even though the tour will offer plenty opportunities, during stops, to buy drinks (they are not included in the price).

Go to Book a tour and fill in the registration form. You can also call, Whatsapp or e-mail us – see Contact. We’ll get back to you as soon as we can.

Yes, we do. For more information, read more or contact us.

Our Urban and Lagoon tours are R$ 100 per person, the Panorama Tour is R$ 135 and the Ultimate Rio tour is R$ 270.

Tours are paid in cash on the day of the tour; bikes and helmets are included in the price.

For bike tours: maximum 10; if your group is of a bigger size, it can be split into subgroups.  With a smaller group it is easier to maintain the quality and the personal approach of the tour. Minimum number of participants is 2.

If it rains, the tour will be canceled. There is always the possibility to reschedule the tour. To avoid the simmering heat on sunny days, the tours will start early, at 9.00 hours in the morning.

The bike tours will have plenty of stops and moments to rest. Likewise for the walking tours. Having said that, the Eco-Favela Tour includes uphill climbing.

Of course. We will visit a lot of beautiful places and you will have plenty of time to record everything on camera.

The bike tours are daily (with exception of special Brazilian holidays); the walking tours are on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
